Welcome to Amphi Football and to the Panther Pride! We are the booster club for Amphi Football and are made up of the parents, friends and alumni who care about our kids. We support several projects that raise funds for the benefit of the football program, supplementing what school provides.

AMPHITHEATER 28, FLOWING WELLS 7 - On his birthday, Vern Friedli used the wishbone option to run all over Flowing Wells (0-2), to take the Panthers to their first 3-0 start since 2003. After a 7-7 first quarter, the Panthers rattled off 21 unanswered points to take the win. Highlight reel: With the game already in hand, quarterback Gaven DeFilippo threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Alex Amaro.

Rewind: Looking back at Week 3 - ON THE RISE - Amphitheater has rushed for 1,020 yards and gave coach Vern Friedli his 312th career victory on his 73rd birthday Friday, beating Tucson Flowing Wells 28-7.

As if meeting the Amphi greats was not enough, Friedli's newest version of the Panthers is worth the price of admission. The wishbone option still plays havoc, as proved by wins in Amphi's first two games. The Panthers racked up 667 rushing yards, 337 from main threat Gustavo Gastelum.
